The latest trend of smartphone manufacturers is releasing refreshed versions of flagship smartphones. A new device called the Titanium S5i is listed on certain Indian e-commerce websites for Rs. 7,999 . The Titanium S5i seems to be a stripped down version of the Titanium S5 that was launched last year.
The Karbonn Titanium S5i comes with dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) network support, and runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. It sports a 5-inch FWVGA (854×480 pixels) display and is powered by a dual-core processor clocked at 1GHz and paired with 512MB of RAM. In comparison, its predecessor Titanium S5 flaunted a 5-inch qHD display and was powered by a 1.2GHz Snapdragon quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. It has 8MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash, which is quite impressive for a sub-Rs 7000 smartphone. There's also a 0.3MP front camera for video calling.
The handset has 4GB of internal storage, which is expandable upto 32GB. It offers the usual connectivity features like Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth, microUSB and GPS. The smartphone is backed by a 2,000mAh battery, and comes in deep blue and white options.
