Xolo Q500 quad core handset launched for Rs 7,999

XOLO has launched a new Android smartphone in its Q-Series XOLO Q500 with a quad-core processor for Rs. 7,999. The new XOLO smartphone is launched with a cool software feature called X-TransPic mobile application, a language translation tool that translates Hindi text into English by pointing out the camera at any Hindi signboard or poster etc.
The Q500 is a dual SIM handset sports a 4 inch OGS screen with 800×480 pixels resolution and runs on Android 4.1 . Xolo Q500 is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 SoC paired with Adreno 203 GPU and 1GB of RAM. Other features included are a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, VGA front camera, 4GB of internal memory that can be expanded using a microSD card and a 1,450mAh battery, which the company claims is good enough for 9.7 hours of talktime and 322 hours on standby mode.Connectivity options include 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
Looking at the specs, except bit old Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS, the smartphone looks really decent and the presence of quad-core Snapdragon in the budget price range is also very impressive. A must buy device in this budget in our views.
