Samsung has officially slashed the price of Galaxy Core 2 to Rs. 8,007. The smartphone is available on Samsung India's official online store at the new price. The Samsung Galaxy Core 2 was launched in July at a price of Rs. 11,900
The Galaxy Core 2 is powered by 1.2GHz quad core processor, runs Android 4.4.2 out of the box. It is a dual SIM handset that sports a 4.5 inch TFT screen with 800 x 480 pixels resolution. There is 4GB internal storage and 768MB RAM. The micro SD card slot can support up to 64GB external cards.A 5MP auto focus camera is packed on the rear with LED flash support and a VGA camera is present on the front. Core 2 weight is 138 grams and is 9.8mm thick. Connectivity options on the smartphone include Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB and 3G. The Samsung Galaxy Core 2 is powered by a 2000mAh battery.
