Much awaited Xiaomi's Redmi 1s launched for Rs 5,999 instead of Rs 6,999 and Just like MI 3 it will be a flash sale, this smartphone will be available via e-commerce website Flipkart on 2nd september(Xiaomi Redmi 1S)
Those want to buy Redmi 1S can register on Flipkart starting today, while the first flash sale will be held on September 2. Redmi 1S have killer specs in Rupees 5,999 even better than the best selling phone of 7k segment Moto E and Micromax Unite 2.
The Redmi 1S is a Dual Sim phone and sports 4.7 inch HD IPS Display with Gorilla Glass 2 and is powered by a 1.6GHz Qualcomm MSM8228 quad-core processor with Adreno 305 GPU. It runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with MIUI v5 skin on top. There is 8MP Rear Auto Focus Camera with LED Flash and 1.6MP Front Camera.
The RedMi 1S comes with 1GB RAM and 8GB storage plus micro SD card support of up to 64GB. Key features are 3G, 2G, W-Fi, GPS (GLONASS) and Bluetooth. The 1S gets power from 2000 mAh battery. After MI3 we are sure this is gonna be huge hit also. It will be interesting to watch how will flipkart handle the traffic when both MI3 and Redmi1S will be available on flash sale on 2nd September.
